How we got started
Before there was a Creative Campus, there was the Creative Clubhouse.
It began as a small homeschool co-op Tarah started with seven local families. Every Friday, we rotated between each other's homes and headed out on field trips — farms, trails, and anywhere else we could learn something together. It ran that way for about a year and a half, and somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like a scheduling arrangement and started feeling like a village.
The longer we did it, the more we heard from other families in Roseburg looking for the same thing. So we opened the doors wider: pop-up art classes, preschool book clubs, an Earth Day celebration, nature hikes. Then we hosted our first Homeschool Spelling Bee at Lehne Farms' Farm Stand — and the turnout told us everything we needed to know.
The Creative Campus is what that little co-op grew into. Same idea, with room for a lot more families.
Our values
We are Cayla, Sydnee, and Tarah — homeschooling moms who share a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for children and families in our community. Through our own journeys in motherhood and home education, we've seen how powerful learning becomes when it's rooted in connection.
What began as a desire to enrich our own children's lives has grown into a mission to bring families together in ways that feel intentional and supportive. We believe children thrive alongside others, in environments that honor who they are while building friendships and confidence.
Our hope is to create spaces where families can slow down, connect, and experience learning as something shared — laying a foundation for lifelong curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
