Writing Club is a virtual space where children, teens, and parents can grow in creativity, communication, and confidence through the art of writing. Participants receive themed writing prompts, creative challenges, and opportunities to explore different styles of writing, including short stories, poetry, personal narratives, nature journaling, opinion pieces, and more. Our goal is to help young writers develop their unique voice in a supportive, inspiring environment while building strong writing and storytelling skills.
Writers will have chances to share their work, receive encouragement, and connect in a creative community with other young authors. At the end of each season, selected pieces from club members are featured in our Creative Campus newsletter, giving children the exciting opportunity to become “published” writers and share their creativity with the community. This club is fully virtual, allowing families to participate from home and work at their own pace throughout the week—ideal for ages 7 and up.
